Upon a guilty plea, Lowell Idle (Idle) was convicted of three counts of Confinement While Armed with a Deadly Weapon,[Footnote 1] a class B felony, one count of Criminal Deviate Conduct While Armed with a Deadly Weapon,[Footnote 2] a class A felony, and one count of Rape While Armed with a Deadly Weapon,[Footnote 3] a class A felony. Upon appeal, Idle challenges the sentences imposed by the trial court asserting that they are manifestly unreasonable, and resulted from the trial courts failure to appropriately weigh mitigating factors.
